The Blackberry 9000 Bold is the classic Blackberry, updated with modern looks and technology. Sure it’s big, but it’s got a lot ot stuff to hold in it’s chassis.
Blackberry 9000 Bold Design
Measuring 114 x 66 x 14 mm and weighing 133 grams, the Blackberry Bold 9000 is by no means a small phone. However, the chunky look seems to work and actually makes it look pretty good. The rounded edges also add a modern feel to it. They could have accomodated a larger screen but the current size is more than satisfactory for viewing emails, web pages and pictures. Beneath the screen a re numerous shortcut keys (typically Home, Contacts, email etc.), some call related keys, and the trackball for navigating the interface. Then beneath this you get the full qwerty keyboard with slightly raised keys. The Blackberry 9000 comes in a black casing with chrome trim.
Blackberry 9000 Bold Music
The music player is sufficient for listening to music and supports most formats. Blackberry have also supplied a 3.5mm headphone jack so you can use your own headphones. Internal memory is 128MB, and this can be increased further using a MicroSD Card.
Blackberry 9000 Bold Camera
The camera only has 2 mega pixels with flash, so it is pretty basic. However pictures are clear and the camera is easy to use.
Blackberry 9000 Bold Applications and Internet
Apart from the basic applications, the Blackberry Bold 9000 has a document viewer (pdf, word and excel), built in GPS, Blackberry Maps, and brilliant email capabilities. Almost all email formats are supported as well as email with attachements.
Internet connectivity is super fast with 3G HSDPA, Wifi, EDGE and GPRS technology.

The Blackberry Bold 9000 is one of the best Blackberry phones to come to market. It is a little chunky, but this can be forgiven due to it’s brilliant internet connectivity and email functions.
