The HTC Dream is a great-looking phone packed with the latest technologies and features. It’s fun and modern while still keeping ease of use and functionality in mind.

HTC Dream Design

The HTC Dream measures 117.7 mm (height) x 55.7 mm (width) x 17.1 mm (thickness) and weighs a solid 158 grams. The 3.2-inch TFT capacitive touch screen dominates the front of the phone. With support for 65 000 colours and a 320 x 480 pixel resolution, images are bright, clear and good quality. Sliding the screen to the side reveals the hidden QWERTY keyboard. The keys are well-spaced and set over 5 rows to allow for ease of typing. Additionally, the handset features a small trackball navigation tool and conveniently situated menu key. Colour-wise, the HTC Dream is available in black.

HTC Dream Music

Although there is no FM radio, the HTC Dream does feature an integrated music player. Because of its connectivity features, new music can be downloaded or transferred from other devices. There is a built-in microphone and integrated speakers to allow for an enjoyable shared music session. Music can be stored on the HTC Dreams internal storage (192 MB RAM, 256 MB ROM), but a MicroSD card can be used to increase this and have access to more of your tunes on your phone.

HTC Dream Camera

The HTC Dream comes standard with an integrated 3.15-megapixel camera. There is 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution for clear, colourful images, and the autofocus feature means that you don’t need to worry about having blurry photos. The camera also doubles as a video recorder.

HTC Dream Applications and Internet

There are a number of features on the HTC Dream in addition to the standard phone applications. GPS Navigation along with Google maps means that you’ll always know where youÕre going. An integrated Internet HTML application makes browsing the Web quick and easy. Traditional SMS and MMS messaging is enhanced with Email and Instant Messaging support. For the businessperson there are document-viewing features for PDF, Word, Excel and PowerPoint viewing. A hands free application also makes driving and talking a breeze.
The HTC Dream makes use of an Android operating system, and Internet connectivity is made possible with GPRS, HSCSD, EDGE, 3G HSDPA, WLAN, Bluetooth and USB technologies.
