The HTC Touch 3G is a light and compact touch screen phone, with a decent camera, ok music player and brilliant internet connectivity and applications.
HTC Touch 3G Design
The HTC Touch 3G looks quite modern with its very rounded edges and sleek design. The bosy measures 102 x 53.6 x 14.5 mm and weighs a light 96 grams. The touch screen is a little small (compared to other HTC Touch phones like the HTC Touch Diamond 2 and the HTC Touch Pro 2) at 2.8 inches, but is definitely not tiny by any standards. Beneath the screen are a few touch sensitive buttons (call related) and a large touxh sensitive NavPad. Colour-wise the HTC Touch 3G comes in black, blue, brown and gold.
HTC Touch 3G Music
The music player seems to have been put in as a bit of an after thought, but the sound quality is decent. Internal memory is 256Mb with 196 ROM, and is compatible with a MicroSD Card. Most popular music formats are supported and there is an FM Radio.
HTC Touch 3G Camera
The camera has 3.2 mega pixels and fixed focus. Nothing really special here. It will take pictures, but dont expect the highest quality.
HTC Touch 3G Internet and Applications
This is where the HTC Touch 3G shines. Apart from the basic applications, some advanced ones include a document viewer, HTC Weather, handrecognition software, GPS and AGPS Navigation and TouchFLO™ 3D Control, which is a very clever and simple way of navigating the interface.
Internet is brilliant with EDGE, GPRS, 3G HSDPA, and Wifi. Bluetooth is also standard.
HTC Touch 3G Summary
The HTC Touch 3G phone is one of the most compact Touch phones from HTC. It looks modern, with its rounded egdes but the screen is a little small. The camera and music player are also a little disappointing. However the applications and internet connectivity are, as typical with HTC, brilliant.
