HTC Touch Cruise 09 Design
The HTC Touch Cruise 09 measures 102 mm (height) x 53.5 mm (width) x 14.5 mm (thickness) and weighs 103 grams. The phone is fairly compact and easy to carry around for day-to-day use. The 2.8-inch screen displays at 240 x 320 pixels and operates as a full touchscreen. The only other features beside the screen on the front of the phone are 4 buttons and a 5-way navigation key. On the back of the phone you can see the camera feature. Colour-wise, the HTC Touch Cruise 09 is available only in black.

The HTC Touch Cruise 09 comes standard with an integrated music player. A variety of music formats are supported, including MP3, WMA, MIDI, WAV, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, AMR, QCP and AWB. There is a fair amount of internal memory (256 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM), meaning that quite a few tracks can be saved on the phone. This can however be increased by means of a MicroSD card if desired. There is unfortunately no FM radio feature on the HTC Touch Cruise 09.

The HTC Touch Cruise 09 has an integrated 3.2-megapixel camera with a focus feature. Image settings and functions can be adjusted to suit your individual photo needs. An advanced feature that has been introduced by HTC is the HTC footprints. This is essentially HTC’s version of Geotagging. Once you’ve taken a picture you can tag your location, add some notes or even add a voice memo. 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution means that your photos will be good quality, and the camera even doubles as a video recorder.
HTC Touch Cruise 09 Applications and Internet
In addition to the standard phone applications, the HTC Touch Cruise 09 also has a built-in GPS with A-GPS support and Google Maps to help you to always know where you’re going. Beside the usual SMS and MMS messaging applications, there is also support for Email and Instant Messaging. HTC Footprints is a great application for you pictures, and there is also a “pocket office” to view Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and PDF files.
The HTC Touch Cruise 09 runs off a Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional operating system, and Internet connectivity is made possible with GPRS, EDGE, 3G HSDPA, WLAN, Bluetooth and USB technologies.
