The HTC Touch Pro 2 is modern looking business phone, with a full QWERTY keyboard, touch screen capability, decent camera and music player and excellent internet connectivity and applications.
HTC Touch Pro 2 Design
The HTC Touch Pro 2 looks really modern with its rounded edges and dark black contrasting screen. It is a fairly large phone measuring 116 x 59.2 x 17.3 mm and weighs 175 grams, so also isnt what you would call light. The touch sesitive screen is huge, at 3.6 inches and dominates the front of the phone. There is a full QWERTY keyboard that slides out from the side of the HTC Pro 2, which has chiclet designed keys which look great and allow fast typing. The screen can also be tilted up at an angle for easier viewing. Overall a very solid modern looking mobile.
HTC Touch Pro 2 Music
The music player is pretty basic but will support the popular music formats, as well as an FM Radio. Internal memory is a large 288MB, which can be increased further using a MicroSD Card.
HTC Touch Pro 2 Camera
The camera on the HTC Touch Pro 2 has 3.2 mega pixels and autofocus. It will also support video capture. Don’t expect Cybershot quality, but it takes pictures that are of print quality.
HTC Touch Pro 2 Applications and Internet
Now we get to what makes the HTC Touch Pro 2 phone stand out from the crowd. Applications are aplenty, with all the standard apps you would expect such as calendar, contacts, alarm, to do list etc., as well as advanced apps. These include a document viewer (word, excel, pdf, powerpoint), handwriting recognition, GPS Navigation, and TouchFLO™ 3D Control, which allows you to move around the interface using 3D image shortcuts.
Internet connectivity could not be better with 3G HSDPA, EDGE, Wifi, and GPRS. Of course there is also the trusty bluetooth. You will never be disconnected with the HTC Pro Touch 2.
HTC Touch Pro 2 Summary
In summary, the HTC Touch Pro 2 does what it set out to do, it provides useful applications and excellent internet connectivity. However it does this while still having a decent camera and music player, as well as manages to look pretty good while doing it.
For business people..highly recommended.
