HTC Touch 2 Design
The HTC Touch 2 is the slim, elegant new Windows Mobile 6.5 Smartphone. With measurements of 104 mm (height) x 55 mm (width) x 12.9 mm (thickness) and a weight of only 110 grams, it’s easy to see why there is much anticipation for the handset’s upcoming release. The front of the phone is dominated by the 2.8 inch TFT-resistive touch screen. The screen offers support for 65 000 colours and displays at a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels, meaning that picture quality is great. There is also an Accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate as well as handwriting recognition features. Colour-wise, the HTC Touch2 is available in black, brown and silver.
HTC Touch2 Music
The HTC Touch 2 features an integrated music player that supports MP3, WAV, eAAC+ and WMA music files. Tracks are easy to download and transfer, and the music player is conveniently accessible from the main menu. There is a fair amount of internal memory (256MB RAM, 512MB ROM), meaning that a good deal of tracks can be stored on the handset. There is, however, a microSD card slot to increase this storage capacity if desired. The HTC Touch2 does not have an FM Radio.
HTC Touch 2 Camera
The camera on the HTC Touch 2 is fairly average. At 3.15-megapixels and a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, you can expect good pictures. Feature-wise, there aren’t too many extra add-ons. The camera can however be used as a video recorder with support for MP4, WMV, H.263 and H.264 files.

The HTC Touch2 is a Windows device and it runs on Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional Operating System. It’s a great business companion and offers Pocket Office, which allows you to view Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and PDF files. The phone has support for MIDP 2.0 Java, and also features a GPS with A-GPS support to ensure you always know where you’re going.
Internet connectivity is made possible with GPRS, HSCSD, EDGE, 3G HSDPA, WLAN Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB technologies.
