The BL42 Chocolate is the highly anticipated forthcoming release from LG. There is fairly little information available on the handset, but the specs that have been leaked look very promising.

LG BL42 Chocolate Design

Official specs have yet to be released on the LG BL42, but certain information has been leaked in order to tempt potential buyers. The elongated front 4-inch TFT screen dominates the handset and displays at 240 × 320 pixels. Beneath the screen is a red, slide-out alphanumeric keypad. Although information is still unavailable on the colour of the handset, it appears that the main casing will be black.

LG BL42 Chocolate Music

The LG BL42 features an integrated media player that supports MP3, WMA and WAV music files. The phone also comes standard with a built-in FM radio. The phone’s connectivity features mean that you can download your favourite tracks onto your handset, and the inclusion of a microSD card slot means that you can increase the internal storage capacity of 130MB on the BL42 to store all your favourite music.

The LG New Chocolate comes with a built-in 5-megapixel camera. The auto-focus feature ensures that all your images are clear, and the integrated flash allows you to photograph even when lighting conditions aren’t ideal. The BL42 also features a digital zoom and CMOS image sensor. The camera feature also functions as a video recorder, and there is an additional camera on the handset for video-calling.

There is very little information available on the extra features that will be included in the LG BL42 New Chocolate. It would appear that in addition to the standard phone applications, the handset has very decent e-mail capabilities. The phonebook has a very impressive 1000 -names capacity, and features such as “to-do lists” and a world clock make business ventures much easier. Internet connectivity is made possible with GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, 3G HSDPA, Bluetooth and USB technologies.

The LG New Chocolate is causing quite a stir – just enough information has been leaked to wet appetites, but there is still a healthy amount of curiosity surrounding the phone. Hopefully the hype pays off for LG and consumers will soon be presented with a great new handset.
