The LG KT520 is another stunning mobile phone from LG. It has been designed to target the middle end of the market, so it has a great spec and looks, but a reasonable price.
LG KT520 Design
Wow, the LG KT520 looks amazing. It has a large 2.2inch TFT 262k Colour Screen. Colour-wise the LG KT520 phone comes in 1, which is a black and chrome combo that looks great.
The LG KT520 measures 101.4 x 49.6 x 15.3mm, which is actually quite think (especially for a slider), and weighs around 97g (which is good and light). Just beneath the screen of the LG KT520, you’ll find a few buttons. Right at the bottom are the Call and End buttons, which is quite strange as these will most likely get the most use. Just above these are a Clear Key and a switcher. The switcher can be used to navigate through applications that are already open. In the centre of all of this we have the D-Pad, to be used for navigation. There is a slide-out keypad, with evenly spaced out keys
LG KT520 Camera
The camera on the LG KT520 is 3.2 mega-pixel, and has a dedicated camera key. There is however no flash. There is also another little camera at the front of the LG KT520 that can be used for video calls.
LG KT520 Music
There is 30 mega-bytes of internal memory, and a memory card with up to 4GB. The built in memory player supports most formats, including MP3, as well as having a built in FM Radio.
LG KT520 Applications and Internet
The LG KT520 is HTML, XHTML and WAP compatible and supports 3G HSPDA, EDGE and GPRS. However, the LG KT520 does not have wifi, which you would not really expect for a phone in this price range. The LG KT520 has fairly standard applications, including Voice Activated calls, calendar, alarm, personal organiser etc.
LG KT520 Summary
Overall the LG KT520 is a good buy. It looks good, and has a fairly decent spec. The camera is quite poor, and the lack of wifi is apparent. However, for this price range, it is worth a closer look.
