LG KT770 Review

The LG KT770 is a slider phone from LG that looks good and has an impressive spec: large screen, GPS, WiFi, 3.5G support, and a 5mega pixel camera.

LG KT770 Design

The LG KT770 is a slider phone that measures 4.29 x 1.99 x 0.50 inches. The screen is a good 2.8 inches and is crystal clear. There are a few touch sensitive buttons beneath the screen for Power and Call Answer/End, as well as a navigational pad. Slide out the keypad and the keys are a good size with slightly raised profile making it easier to type fast. There is also ample room between the top slider and the top keys, which has been an issue with some other sliders. Colours have not yet been confirmed, but you can see in the photo it should at least come in a metallic blue.

LG KT770 Music

There is a built-in music player and an FM Radio. The internal memory is a rather large 120 mega bytes, and this can be increased to 16GB by using an external MicroSD card.

LG KT770 Camera

The camera on the LG KT770 has 5 mega pixels with autofocus and LED Flash. There are some advanced camera features like geo-tagging (so you will always know where you took that picture), face detection, Blink detection (so it wont take a picture if you blink) and Smile detection (the camera will take a picture as soon as the person smiles). Throw in the fact that it has Panorama function, where you take a series of pictures and the LG KT770 stitches them together into one continuous photo, and you really have a great camera phone.

LG KT770 Applications and Internet

Application-wise, the LG KT770 is pretty packed. Apart from the standard apps, it has a document viewer (word,excel,pdf), GPS receiver with A-GPS function, and internet connection is fast using WiFi, 3G HSPDA and bluetooth.

LG KT770 Summary

The LG KT770 is definitely a smart phone. The only thing that lets it down slightly, is that it could have a better music player, but apart from that the camera is awesome, internet connectivity is fast and the LG KT770 looks great.
