The Nokia N85 is one of the newer models to come out from the Nokia N series.
It is meant to be the upgrade of the very succesful N96, and it is rather similar to it as well.
Nokia N85 Design
The Nokia N85 is a great looking mobile phone, with a large (2.6 inch) screen and great resolution. The screen has also been designed so that it is easier to read in sunlight, which will prevent all that squinting.
It weighs a good 128g, with dimensions of 103mm x 50mm x 16mm. So this is not a small phone, but when you see what it is jampacked with, you will be fine with the size.
The Nokia N85 has touch sensitive Options, Open and Close buttons at the lower end of the screen, and a slide out number pad, with well spaced out numbers.
Nokia N85 Camera
The camera is of typical high Nokia quality, with 5MP and 20x digital zoom. Bolt in Carl Zeiss optics, Tessar lens, autofocus and dual led flash, and this is a camera to be proud of. Of course the Nokia N85 camera comes with many image editing options, as well as a brilliant ability to film videos
Nokia N85 Music
The Nokia N85 has an amazing music player, and supports the main formats of MP3, WMA, AAC, and eAAC. There is 74MB of internal memory, 78MB of nand flash memory and a memory card slot. And of course the Nokia N85 has a FM Radio.
Nokia N85 Internet and Applications
Let’s face it, the Nokia N85 was built for far more important factors than just calling and messaging. It supports HTML, XHTML, WAP, CSS, WML and MP formats. The Nokia N85 browser also includes Nokia Mini Map and Nokia Mobile Search.
There are some tru;y awesome applications on the Nokia N85, which make it a great life organiser. These include: Adobe Flash lite, Nokia Maps, Zip Manager, Quickoffice etc.
The Nokia N85 is highly recommended, as a possible upgrade to your Nokie N96, or as your first foray into the smartphone world.
