Samsung i7110

Samsung i7110 Review

The Samsung i7110 is a solid bar mobile phone (basically nothing flips, folds, or slides out). It has a simple design, but is packed with features.

Samsung i7110 Design

As stated above, the Samsung i7110 is a solid bar phone. It is a fairly basic design, but still looks classy and stylish. Dimesions of the Samsung i7110 are 118mm x 52mm x 12.9mm and it weighs 125grams, so it’s not too light. Colour-wise, the Samsung i7110 is brushed metal black and silver, and there is a nice large 2.6 inch screen. There is also a large trackball navigation key, which is very handy and easy to use. A simple, but classive design.

Samsung i7110 Music

The music player on the Samsung i7110 supports all popular formats, as well as being an FM Radio. There is 50 mega-bytes of internal memory as well as the ability to add more with a MicroSD card. The Samsung i7110 also has a GPS navigation feature which uses the FM transmitter so you can hear the directions over the cars speaker system.

Samsung i7110 Camera

The camera on the Samsung i7110 phone has 5 megapixels, and supports both video and still-image capture. The camera comes with the usual group of high-end camera specs: Auto Focus, Flash, an Image Stabiliser, Geo Tagging, and Face Detection. There is also a small camera on the front of the Samsung i7110to permit video calls.

Samsung i7110 Applications and Internet

Application-wise, the Samsung i7110 is packed. Stay organised and up to date with the tools. The Samsung i7110  supports all popular web browsing technologies. The i7110 mobile also includes GPRS, EDGE, 3G HSDPA and the WLAN Wi-Fi - so you will always be connected.

Samsung i7110 Summary

The Samsung i7110 might not be the best looking phone around, but it is compact, solid,  and slick looking. Bold onto that the top-end camera and good music player, and you have a good safe purchase.

Reviewed by Irfan Mahmood from Cheltenham,UK on 16th February 2009

This has got to be the biggest tease in the history of Smartphones - when the heck is this phone actually going to be released?! I’m fed up waiting and I’m sure the rest of people who witnessed the unveileing in October last year are too!
Surely, you can’t announce a phone in October (after “leaked Pictures from Samsung” of it end up on the Internet) and then not permit the release until mid February . . . . and counting?!?!
Come on Samsung! Sort yourself out!
