Brits want basic mobile phones
It seems that nowadays, every second phone that comes out is a smart phone with a myriad of expensive and advanced technologies. This could be anything from 12 mega-pixel cameras, touch screens, geo-tagging images, wifi, and massive memories capable of storing thousands of songs. Phones like the Nokia N96 and newer ones like the Nokia N97 and N99 are sure to be very similarly highli spec’d out.
However, there is a growing trend of people wanting to go back to basics. Moneysupermarket.com have just completed a survey and it seems that a substantial number of brits are tired of their ’super-duper advanced’ mobile phones breaking and having technical issues. In the survey of over 2000 adults, only 18% said they wanted a mobile phone with the latest technology. LG seemed to be the phone manufacturer with the most complaints, with Motorola having the least. This could also be as a result of LG typically having more technostuff than other manufacturers.
What do you think? Do you want the latest or the most reliable?
