Mobile Phone Coverage

Many people want to check that they will be able to get coverage in their particular area before they take a new Mobile Phone Contract. They will either be making sure that the networks covers their living location, their work location, or both.
Mobile Phone Coverage will of course vary by network, as each one has better reception in certain areas, and of course poorer reception in others. Often times you will find that you will have excellent reception from O2 in your area, while your family/friends who are using Orange have very poor and sporadic reception.

It has been put forward that in the future networks will work closer together to ensure that network coverage is more evenly distributed. For example, T-Mobile might make a deal with Vodafone so that where T-Mobile is stronger it shares this with Vodafone and vice versa. However deals like these are not very common, so it is still very advisable to check the Mobile Phone Network Coverage in your area.
