The X3 is the small, sleek offering from Nokia. It’s a great looking handset and includes some really good features.

Nokia X3 Design

The Nokia X3 measure 96 mm (height) x 49.3 mm (width) x 14.1 mm (thickness) and weighs in at 103 grams. The compact handset is a slide phone and, when in a closed position, is dominated by a 2.4 inch TFT screen. The display offers support for 256 000 colours and has a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. There are dedicated music and camera keys and, when slid open, there is a spacious alphanumeric keypad. Colour-wise the phone is available in red on black and blue on silver.

Nokia X3 Music

The Nokia X3 features a high-end integrated music player offering support for MP3, MP4, eAAC+ and WMA music files. The music player is very easy to use and your tracks are quickly and conveniently sorted and stored onto playlists. There are also customisation options. With 70MB of internal memory, a fair number of tracks can be stored on your handset. There is, however, a microSD card slot that will allow you to increase this storage capacity up to 16GB if desired. The Nokia X3 also includes a built-in FM radio with RDS functionality – this allows information from the radio station to be displayed across your screen while listening to music. In order to enhance your listening experience, a dedicated touch music key has been included, as well as a 3.5 mm audio jack to allow you to use your favourite earphones.

Nokia X3 Camera

The Nokia X3 features an integrated 3.2-megapixel camera with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. There is enhanced fixed focus to ensure that your images are stable and clear, and the built-in LED flash allows you to take snapshots even when lighting conditions aren’t ideal. The camera also functions as a video recorder, recording QCIF at 15 frames per second.

Nokia X3 Internet and Applications

The Nokia OVI store offers full support to the Nokia X3, meaning that downloading is quick and easy. Web browsing is easy, and there are also e-mail capabilities. Internet connectivity is made possible with GPRS, HSCSD, EDGE, Bluetooth and USB technologies.
